| Adult Transition Program (ACAT) |
| ACAT is an exciting new transition program that currently serves young adults from the Berkeley Unified School District. Our students, ages 18-22, are preparing to move into adult life, and we are committed to supporting them in achieving this with utmost independence. ACAT incorporates vocation, education and recreation into a dynamic weekly schedule that is driven by client choice. Here students have an opportunity to practice self-reliance on a daily basis while interacting with peers and community members - an ideal learning environment for anyone. Examples of our activities include cooking class, money counting (in real-time situations of course), |

ACAT is also an adult day program, where young graduates may choose to stay and build upon their newly honed skills. Our staff members are committed to supporting program participants in developing the kind of confidence that allows them to make empowered life decisions - something to which we all aspire. |
